Driving experience for the visually impaired

I was searching for something at work yesterday, and stumbled upon an article about an event I organised last year in my Volunteering role. I thought I’d share in case it helps someone. The event was driving for the visually impaired. As I had to return my driving license almost 3 years ago, it was something I was thrilled to do again! The article says I’ve lost my sight. I haven’t completely. My central vision is fine, I have glasses for reading like a lot of people . My night time and peripheral vision isn’t great. However I’ve been sending love to my retinas morning and evening for over a year. And I’m pleased to say that everything is stable. There’s been no further deterioration in that time. So sending love and positivity to anything has got to be a good thing, right? The point of this post is really to say, don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do anything. Because you can, there’s always a way around things. Plus you never know who needs to hear what you’ve got to say, or find your words and experience healing. And as JK Rowling once said “Anything is possible if you’ve got enough nerve.”
